Fresh Fiction

Fresh Fiction was founded in 2004, by Gwen and Sara Reyes, as the place for readers to find their next great read.

As readers, they’re always looking for a new book or author to try. They want to share their finds with you, thus the idea of the Fresh Fiction Box Not to Miss was born.

Each month they curate a box of great reads, print and digital, they love. And hope you’ll join them as they share with you, their fellow readers, the best books to try!

The Simplicity of Cider

Escape to Door County, WI this summer for a delightful, light-hearted romance with a little touch of magical realism. Single dad Isaac Banks has spent years trying to shield his son Sebastian from his troubled mother. Fleeing heartbreak at home, Isaac packed up their lives and the two headed out on an adventure, driving across the country. Chance, or fate, led them straight to Sanna’s orchard.

 Run to Ground

This book captures your imagination and makes you part of the story by the descriptions of the scenes. It involves you in a heart throbbing suspense and thrilling rescues which won’t let you put the book down until you’ve read it all completely. I’ve always loved a happy ending.

One Week to the Wedding

Kate is planning her best friend’s wedding and she wants it to be perfect. She was supposed to get married herself, but the wedding never took place because her fiance cheated on her with her sister. So she has to prove to everyone (including herself) that she is over the heartbreak and able to do her job well. She has to make sure everything is perfect and make sure the best man does not ruin the wedding.

Part of the Silence

Evie Sherman is found beaten and left for dead in the small town of Cornwall where crime just doesn’t happen. The police are doing everything in their power to find out what happened. A local woman named Charlotte hears of Evie’s attack and thinks that she recognizes her from her younger days but not as Evie, as Jen. Charlotte hopes to become a link to Jen’s past as they try to regain her memories.

At His Mercy

Isabella and Tristan both had pasts that made them leery of getting involved with another person. But they spent a hot night together as strangers never thinking they’d see each other again. WRONG! As Isabella head out to college, she finds herself to be one of Tristan’s new students.

I’m not sure what it is about this box that brings so much joy and excitement. But when I open my door to find that pretty pink box, I turn into a giddy teenage girl! The mystery of what could be inside is just so exciting to me. Knowing that the next few days will be filled with these books makes me so happy.
