I recently bought a pair of Skechers Flex Appeal 2.0 shoes and my feet are so happy that my toes were begging me to write this review. Seriously, if I let them, they’d be up here typing away. These running shoes are good-looking, comfortable, and super breathable.
I opted for the navy blue shoe with moderately bright peach coloured laces. As far as sneakers go, they’re very appealing and I’ve received many compliments while wearing them. For those shoe-buyers who prefer more subtle coloured shoes, I was also provided with navy blue laces in case the peach was too much.
I tend to be very critical when it comes to shoes; especially towards their comfort. If I am on my feet for extended periods of time, while wearing poor quality shoes, I suffer from incredibly sore feet and ankles. Since wearing my Skechers I’ve been able to get through numerous work days without a complaint (I’m employed at a child care centre so, needless to say, I am on my feet 8+ hours a day). This miraculous comfort may be attributed to the heavenly air-cooled memory foam insole. In addition to the cushiony insole, the Skechers Flex Appeal 2.0 is a lightweight shoe that allows flexibility while the wearer moves. When walking in these shoes, it honestly feels like you’re walking on a cloud barefoot.
I should also mention, since it’s mid-August and the days are extra sticky, I found these sneakers very breathable. When I take my Skechers off at the end of the day, my feet haven’t left behind tiny puddles of sweat. Thankfully they also have not developed that putrid odour that smells as though you have stepped in a slice of rotting cheese left over from the Stone Age.
I highly recommend Skechers Flex Appeal 2.0 shoes as they are fantastic casual footwear and are also great to wear during a workout or run. Shout out to Pokemon GO players, these shoes would be fantastic while you’re out getting those KMs needed for hatching eggs too!
