Spruce up your kitchen on a budget

If you’re not totally in love with your kitchen, we’ve got some ideas to help you love it more. No big renovations and everything is inexpensive and within just about everyone’s budget.

Hang some art and decorations – It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or expensive, simply frame a photo or image you love in an inexpensive frame and you have yourself some new art for your kitchen.

Add a rug – A rug is a great way to add a pop of colour into any room, including the kitchen. A colourful rug under the table is an inexpensive way to cover up old outdated tiles.

Fix appliances – You don’t need that new fancy fridge or stove, hiring someone for stove or fridge repair will save you money in the long run.

Paint – Adding a new fresh coat of paint can really brighten up the kitchen.

Slipcovers for your chairs – Instead of purchasing new, try adding slipcovers instead.

Swap out hardware –

Add a backsplash – You can add a backsplash without having to deal with grout. Home Depot has a bunch of stick-on backsplash panels, which couldn’t be easier to install.

Install a new faucet – You’d be amazed at the difference a new faucet can make.
