Now that halloween is upon us, have you thought of what your kids will be going as? How about you, what will you be?

CostumeChik has hundreds of costumes for everyones taste. Weather you or the kids want to be a scary zombie, a princess , a banana or even if you want a costume for your dog? (This would be perfect for my German Shepherd 😉 )

I had the opportunity to try out this very cute Black cat costume
After browsing for HOURS trying to find the perfect costume for my daughter, she finally decided she wanted to be a cat for Halloween.

The Stola Kitty costume consists of a full piece jumpsuit (with attached tail), and a cat ears headband.

The costume is super cute and easy to put on. It opens up in the back and closes with velcro. There is also stirrups at the bottom for your child’s feet.

It is made of very soft crushed velvet and has faux fur accents around the wrists and tail.

When choosing any costume, you may want to consider choosing the next size up. Especially when by the end of October it gets pretty cold in the evening, and I have had to have the kids wear big sweaters or Snowsuit under their costumes in the past.

CostumeChik also have a great variety of wigs, masks and accessories.
I also had the chance to try out Disguise Stix

Disguise Stix are pretty much popsicle sticks with paint on them.
Easy to use – Wet the stick with a little water and use a make-up brush or a fine textured sponge (I used a small paintbrush that we had in our crafts container)
1 stick is enough to cover 5 to 7 faces, you can even use it in your hair!
The Disguise Stix is also Non-toxic, so you don’t have to worry about your child licking the paint from their lips or rubbing it off with their hands then putting their hands in their mouths.
Cleaning up is easy – Just use soap and water.
I really loved using them, they are much simpler then the regular costume makeup that gets slopping wet or the crayons that end up breaking in your hands.
After painting my daughters face, I waited for the stick to dry up (took about 5 minutes), placed it back in its packaging then in a ziplock bag. Now I can re-use it again come halloween!
