Despite being able to function on a few hours of sleep, the body actually needs around seven hours of rest per night to be functioning at maximum capacity. We know that sometimes there are factors like kids that can disrupt your sleep, but you want to get as much as you can.


If you struggle with sleep then there are certain medicines out there that you could try. Alternatively, you could aim to set a bedtime routine, teaching your brain the steps you will take when you are ready to go to sleep.

Last but not least, you want to make sure that you are exercising regularly. Your body needs a certain amount of movement in order to be healthy, and whether you like it or not it’s your job to meet these goals. Even if this just means that you want to go for a walk every morning or every evening, that’s good enough to keep your health in tact.
